- Having said that I would not recommend using this or similar types of modems such as UMC
- "UPI " that do not have Hardware data compression or error compression ( ECC )

- Please note that there are now modems listed as RPI in the ATI3 results, but they *DO* now
- have Hardware ECC.

- There is also a V34 RPI chipset with no hardware ECC...You have been warned!
